After another successful year for XRadio in 2021, it is time to report on the First Quarter of 2022. So far, our numbers are nearly the same for this quarter as it was for the first quarter of our historic last year’s listener levels. If this continues, XRadio will see another year with a listener reach of nearly half a million!
This is the First Quarter 2022 Listener Report.
XRadio had 45,035 different listeners from 162 different countries for a listener reach total of 139,995 listeners in the 1st Quarter, 2022!

LISTENER DEVICES
Second Life listeners continue to be the primary listening audience for XRadio, but continued growth outside of Second Life is also ongoing. 66% of XRadio listeners came from within the Second Life grid in the first quarter of 2022. Since we are heard on multiple commercial and private areas across the grid, this is to be expected. Fmod is the system Second Life uses.
Outside of Second Life, the embedded stream player on the website and our placement in multiple online radio directories has helped to reach even more listeners.
LISTENER PEAKS
Peak concurrent listeners for the three-month period happened on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. At 1:00 PM that day, 250 people were tuned into the XRadio stream at the same time across the world! That is a new concurrent listener record for XRadio!
LISTENER REPORT CONCLUSION
XRadio continues its growth, both inside virtual worlds and outside. Our growth is expected to continue throughout 2022, with a goal to smash last year’s record listener peak by surpassing half a million listeners in 2022!
