Another month is behind us… it’s time to check out the numbers and dissect all the information. The prognosis looks good and a couple of milestones were reached in October. XRadio is an online radio station from Singapore that is a popular station in Second Life. This is the October Listener Report of XRadio.
ACHIEVEMENTS ACCOMPLISHED
XRadio hit two milestones this past month. We had over 10,000 unique listeners in October. This means over ten thousand different listeners were connected to the stream. This is awesome news as it continues to show an increasing number of listeners month after month.
In addition, we had over 25,000 total listeners last month. That means you guys really like us and tune in repeatedly. That’s so awesome.

The majority of listeners 81% continue to come from our presence in the online virtual world, Second Life. Listeners outside of Second Life continue to grow, as well. Six of the top 15 listener nations are mostly not associated with Second Life and are from the southeast Asian and Australian areas of the world. Four of the top ten nations are in Europe.
LISTENER BREAKDOWN
Peak concurrent listeners for the month was on Friday, October 16, 2020. At 8AM that morning, 112 people were tuned in at the same time. Mornings continue to be the most listened daypart with 25.3% of listeners tuned into the stream between the hours of 7AM and 11AM. XRadio station time is Pacific time.
CONCLUSIONS
For the sixth month in a row, XRadio has seen continued growth. As stated above, this past month we met two milestones in terms of unique and total listeners. Our core area (Second Life) continues to see growth as does our reach into the southeast Asian and Australian areas, where we get the most listeners outside of our core area. This trend is expected to continue as XRadio continues to grow!
