Having done regular monthly listeners statistics and posting them publicly, I learned something about statistics – it’s a rough job. After that decision, I decided to instead report quarterly listener reports, starting in July. This is the Third Quarter 2021 Listener Report.
XRadio had 36,344 different listeners from 179 different countries for a total of 107,314 listeners in the 3rd Quarter, 2021!

QUARTERLY STATISTICS
Second Life listeners continue to be the primary listening audience for XRadio, but continued growth outside of Second Life is also ongoing . 76% of XRadio listeners came from within the Second Life grid in the third quarter of 2021. Since we are heard on multiple commercial and private areas across the grid, this is to be expected. Recent partnerships with Unison and Club NeUrOtIxXx, as well as being an official media partner for the Second Life charity event, Rock Your Rack 2021; will only increase the listenership levels from within the Second Life virtual world in the next quarter. Fmod is the system Second Life uses.
Outside of Second Life, it is expected that a new, embedded stream player on the website will help to add even more listeners. An updated XRadio bot for Discord will also help increase listeners outside of the virtual world grid of Second Life.
Peak concurrent listeners for the three-month period happened on Friday, August 6, 2021. At 10:00 PM that day, 142 people were tuned into the XRadio stream at the same time across the world!
Mornings continue to be the most listened daypart of listeners tuned into the stream between the hours of 7AM and 11AM. XRadio station time is Pacific time.
