XRadio continued to see yet another slight drop in both unique listener and total listener reach for the Third Quarter, suggesting a plateauing of listenership that was expected over a year ago. This gives what is expected to be a very accurate report of the core listeners of XRadio, their habits, and the number of them that return regularly.
We have countered this dip in listeners with an outward reach into other gaming realms. XRadio has been aggressively positioning itself as the radio station of the metaverse, opening up InfoHubs on virtual world grids OSgrid, Kitely and more. In addition, XRadio will soon be opening its very own public Minecraft server in the coming months.

XRadio had 35,978 different listeners from 165 different countries for a listener reach total of 120,392 listeners in the 3rd Quarter, 2022!

LISTENER DEVICES
Listeners from virtual worlds like Second Life continue to be the primary listening audience for XRadio, but continued growth outside of the metaverse is also ongoing. 67% of XRadio listeners came from within virtual world grids in the third quarter of 2022. Since we are heard on multiple commercial and private areas across multiple grids like Second Life, OSgrid, Kitely and more; this is to be expected. Fmod is the system that most virtual world viewers incorporate for streaming audio.
Outside of the metaverse, the embedded stream player on the website and our placement in multiple online radio directories has helped to reach even more listeners. About14% of the listeners in the third quarter have listened through the web player. This is a 5% jump from the previous quarter statistics.
LISTENER PEAKS
Peak concurrent listeners for the three-month period happened on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Between 7:00 and 8:00 AM that day, 116 people were tuned into the XRadio stream at the same time across the world!
